My adolescent son who is on the autism spectrum was facing the challenges of growing up in a world where he felt very isolated, different, hopeless, helpless and misunderstood. On the recommendation of a dear friend who understood his challenges, we consulted with staff at Desert Height's Academy and realized there was a place for our child where people really do care about his education and developmental growth. The instructors, counselors and staff are all very professional and attuned to the needs of both special needs children and those with behavioral issues. After seven years of structured curriculum, positive reinforcement, and personal growth through the guidance of the qualified staff at Desert Height's Academy, our child is now thriving academically, looking forward to the next day and feeling positive about himself and his future.
